  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Ground Beef

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Once cooked, drain off the excess fat.

Step 2: Prepare the Chili

  1. Transfer the cooked ground beef to a 6-quart pot.
  2. Add the tomato juice, tomato purée, red kidney beans, pinto beans, chopped onion, diced celery, and green bell pepper.
