Ingredients
- 2 medium peaches
or canned, drained
- 8 oz Pillsbury crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3/4 cup Fresca citrus soda
Optional Garnish:
- Vanilla ice cream
- Powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
Wrap each peach slice in crescent dough and arrange in the dish.
Melt butter and mix with granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Pour over dumplings.
Pour soda around (not over) the dumplings.
Bake for 35 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
Let cool for 10 minutes, then serve with vanilla ice cream or powdered sugar.
Notes
- Experiment with different sodas like Sprite or Mountain Dew for unique flavors.
- Add chopped pecans for extra crunch.
