  • - 2 tbsp olive oil for brushing
  • - 2 large ripe tomatoes diced (or 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved)
  • - 1-2 burrata balls about 8 oz total
  • - 1-2 tbsp fresh basil chopped
  • - 1 garlic clove peeled and halved
  • - 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
  • - 1 tbsp balsamic glaze optional, for drizzling
  • - Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • In a bowl, toss diced tomatoes with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, black pepper, and basil.
  • Rub the warm bread slices with the cut side of the garlic clove. Top with tomato mixture and torn pieces of burrata.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and optional balsamic glaze. Garnish with more basil, salt, and pepper.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

- For a spicy kick, sprinkle red pepper flakes on top.
- Use a serrated knife to slice the baguette cleanly without crushing it.
